IDRUNE Origin Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 26 July 2026. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you, acting on behalf of a manufacturer or other business ("you", "Customer"), and Build Actions Ltd, trading as IDRUNE Origin ("IDRUNE Origin", "we", "us", "our"), operating the website idrune.com and the {company}.idrune.com admin dashboard and public product pages (together, the "Service"). By creating or accessing a company account, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and (once your account is enabled to publish live products) our Data Processing Agreement, each incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
1. Description of Service
IDRUNE Origin lets a manufacturer attach a QR code or NFC tag to a physical product, giving consumers who scan it a public, no-login product page (warranty status, installation guidance, error-code lookup, links to accessories/consumables on your own store, a private feedback form, and Digital Product Passport data where you have configured it) and giving you, the manufacturer, an admin dashboard to manage your product catalog, warranty registrations, team and roles, and related settings.
The Service is priced per tier based on the number of active SKUs in your catalog (currently: Workshop, Catalog, Operations, and Enterprise — full current pricing is shown on idrune.com/pricing when self-serve checkout is live). Some capabilities are optional paid add-ons (for example, API/ERP integration access, deep analytics, priority support). Company accounts are created directly by IDRUNE Origin staff or by an existing administrator on your account inviting a teammate — there is no public self-serve signup today.
We may add, change, or remove features of the Service at any time, and will give reasonable notice of material changes that reduce functionality you already pay for.
2. Account Registration, Team Members & Security
A company account is set up by IDRUNE Origin or by your organization's existing administrator. Administrators may invite additional team members, who set their own password via a signed, time-limited link. Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing — we never store your password in plain text and cannot recover it for you.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account, including actions taken by team members you invite. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
You must provide accurate company and contact information and keep it up to date. An administrator may deactivate a team member's access at any time from the Team members page; deactivation preserves that member's historical audit-trail attribution rather than deleting it, consistent with Section 5 below.
3. Product Catalog, Publishing & Data Accuracy
You control what goes into your product catalog, including any Digital Product Passport, warranty, error-code, installation, and accessory content you add. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of this content, and for ensuring it complies with applicable product-safety, consumer-protection, and environmental/compliance regulation (including the EU's Digital Product Passport requirements under the ESPR, where applicable to your products) in every market where your product is sold.
Publishing a product makes its QR/NFC-linked public page live and reachable by real consumers who scan it. Once published, a product's identifier and public page are not permanently deleted, even if you later mark the product "discontinued" or "archived" — this is a deliberate design so that a QR code physically printed on a product you sold years ago never resolves to a dead link. You can still update or correct the underlying content at any time.
You represent that you have the right to publish all content you add to the Service (product photography, manuals, specifications, and similar material), and that it does not infringe any third party's intellectual property or other rights.
4. Product Recalls & Safety Notices — Important Limitation
The Service lets you DRAFT a recall or product-update notice and calculates which registered owners it would reach, based on serial-range and registration data already in the Service. IDRUNE Origin does NOT automatically send, dispatch, or otherwise notify registered product owners of a recall or safety notice on your behalf — sending real recall communications, through whatever channel is appropriate and legally required for your product and market, remains entirely your own responsibility as the manufacturer. Do not rely on drafting a notice in IDRUNE Origin as satisfying any legal or regulatory recall-notification obligation you may have.
5. Subscription & Billing Terms
Pricing. Current pricing tiers are shown on idrune.com/pricing and displayed inclusive of any applicable VAT where required. Prices may change; we will notify existing subscribers at least 30 days before a price change takes effect on their next renewal.
Payment processing. All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe") via Stripe's hosted Checkout and Customer Portal. IDRUNE Origin does not receive, process, or store your card number, CVV, or full card details at any point.
Free allowance & publishing. You may build your full product catalog at no charge. Publishing your first live products, up to the free allowance shown on the Service at the time (currently up to 3 published products), is also free; publishing beyond that allowance requires an active paid subscription. Publishing any product also requires that you have accepted this Terms document, our Privacy Policy, and our Data Processing Agreement.
Auto-renewal & cancellation. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless cancelled beforehand. You may cancel at any time via your account dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. If a paid subscription lapses or is cancelled, previously-published products already live remain reachable by consumers who scan them (per Section 3) even if your account reverts to the free allowance, subject to that allowance's own product-count limit going forward.
Refunds. Subscription fees are generally non-refundable for partial billing periods, except where required by law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact [email protected].
6. Acceptable Use Policy
You may not use the Service to publish content that: is illegal in the United Kingdom, the European Union, or any market where the relevant product is sold; infringes any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other legal rights; is false or materially misleading about a product's safety, compliance, or environmental claims; or is used to circumvent IDRUNE Origin's security, rate limits, or subscription tier restrictions.
We may remove content, unpublish a product, or suspend an account that violates this policy, with or without notice, at our reasonable discretion, prioritizing consumer safety where relevant.
7. Intellectual Property
You retain all ownership rights in your product content, catalog data, and any material you upload ("Your Content"). By publishing Your Content, you grant IDRUNE Origin a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display it solely to operate the Service — for your own dashboard, and for the public product pages your consumers reach by scanning your codes.
The Service itself — its software, design, branding, the "IDRUNE Origin" name, and underlying technology — is owned by Build Actions Ltd / IDRUNE and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on and integrates with third-party providers, including Stripe (payment processing), Anthropic (AI-assisted translation and specification suggestions — always subject to your own human review before publishing, per Section 3), a transactional email provider, an internal scan-analytics service, and hosting/infrastructure providers. Your use of the Service may also be subject to these providers' own terms.
9. Termination
You may close your account at any time by contacting [email protected]. We may suspend or terminate an account for material breach of these Terms, if required by law, or where we reasonably believe an account poses a security or legal risk. Where practical, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue first.
10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied. IDRUNE Origin is a platform for hosting and presenting product data you control — we do not verify, and are not responsible for, the underlying accuracy of your product-safety, warranty, or compliance claims (see Section 3).
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or £50. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you by email or through the Service at least 14 days before they take effect.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to any mandatory rights you have under the law of your own country of establishment within the EU/UK.
